With a degree in Commercial Design from Missouri State University 1981, Maria entered the corporate space-planning field, managing workspace designs for corporate relocations and healthcare facilities. From design to the business of design, Maria found her passion in developing a strategic competitive advantage for her clients. Realizing the strategic power design’s problem- solving discipline, she began to help independent business owners in architectural and related fields to create purposeful and sustainable market appeal. Beginning with architectural and design firms in 1983, and including education, retail, travel, architectural and independent financial advisors, Maria’s experience with entrepreneurs has led to consulting engagements to re-shape the way business teams engage their clients. Using the principles of design to explore business challenges, express owner vision and arrange opportunities for success, Maria’s process reveals the true purpose of the independent business and the unique market advantage it provides. Her work focuses on your unique business culture by merging experience and education, with a desire for success, and identifies instinctive problem-solving strengths, to empower professional capabilities both individually and collaboratively to support the strategic vision.
